A general wanted this video created for the 36th Combat Aviation Brigade out of Fort Hood Texas during Operation Iraqi Freedom. I held a Secret clearance when we made this.
Many challenges in this. The biggest challenge was too many people in charge. Six colonels wanted their story to be the prime story which caused agreement issues. To circumvent this, we decided on a chronological order of events and each colonel gets two stories to tell.
We travelled to several locations for shooting. The military and Department of Defense (DoD) also provided many video clips. Final video duration: 60 minutes.
I led this video project (pre-production, production, post production) while adhering to approved guidelines. I wrote the outline, wrote the script, directed it, edited it, and finalized it.
